Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church
A staple in the Greater Fifth Ward community, Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church is located at 3010 Fontinot St. Houston, TX 77026. Rev. Matthew R. Alix, Sr. is our fearless, faithful, God appointed leader and Pastor, he was called to pastor the church in July 1989. Delivering his first sermon as Pastor on August 13, 1989 entitled "God's Plan for a Successful Church" II Chronicles 7: 14. Pastor Alix has continued to foster Greater True Vine MBC and welcomes those that want to know about a man named Jesus! We are always excited to welcome new visitors, returning and those that would love to join our church family.
Many souls have been added under Pastor Alix's leadership, as well as new ministries and auxiliaries, for members to participate and interact with one another.
